Nomads.site does not take booking commissions. Instead, the platform envisions being sustained through supportive memberships and a shared perk economy.

Like today, organizers will always be able to publish their projects on Nomads.site free of charge. The envisioned perk economy will not replace free participation, but add an additional way to create value. Rather than losing value to platform fees, organizers will be able to choose to share part of that value directly with the community through discounts, upgrades, special conditions, and unique perks. In return, they will unlock full visibility for everyone.

Supportive members will always have full access to all listing information. At the same time, every listing will continue to provide enough public information for anyone to get a first impression and connect directly with the project.

During the platform's establishment and growth phase, however, Nomads.site will remain fully free and open. The focus is first on creating a vibrant ecosystem, growing the directory, and connecting nomads and organizers without financial barriers.

The long-term vision is to create a genuine win-win dynamic between organizers, nomads, and the platform itself, where value circulates within the community rather than being extracted through commissions.

Projects offering perks will unlock their full profiles for everyone and become more visible across the platform.
Supportive members additionally receive special conditions, discounts, upgrades, and other benefits offered by organizers.

Listings not offering perks

Projects not participating in the perk economy will still be able to publish freely on Nomads.site.
Basic information always remains public, while some advanced details will stay reserved for supportive members.

Planned introduction of the perk economy

The supportive membership and perk economy described above are part of the long-term vision for Nomads.site and are currently envisioned for introduction in 2027.

Until then, Nomads.site will remain fully free and open. Organizers can publish their projects without fees, and visitors can freely discover, explore, and connect with projects across the platform.

As the platform grows, the concept may evolve based on community feedback and real-world experience, with the goal of creating a sustainable win-win economy that benefits organizers, nomads, and the platform alike.
